8 WWE Superstars You Didnt Know Wrestled in Japan

2. Finn Balor

The Demon King, Finn Balor, wasn’t always giving us goosebumps in the WWE.  Balor debuted in 2006 for New Japan Pro Wrestling under the ring name, Prince Devitt.  After NJPW “split brands” Devitt went over to “Wrestleland” as a second Pegasus Kid under a mask.  In late 2007 he started using his Prince Devitt name again.  After winning numerous titles including the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag-Team Championship, he formed the faction we all know and love, The Bullet Club.  The Club was formed in 2013 which included the likes of “Bad Luck Fale”, Karl Anderson, and Tama Tonga.  The Bullet Club played a part in him winning his first IWGP heavyweight Championship.  At Wrestlekingdom 8 in the Toyoko Dome, his fourteen-month reign as champion came to an end after fellow Bullet Club members, The Young Bucks, turned on him.
