Florence Henderson, who many of you know as the mom on the 70’s TV series “The Brady Bunch,” has died at the age of 82. The Associated Press reported on her passing on Thursday night.
She was surrounded by friends and family after suffering heart failure, according to a statement put out by her manager. She had apparently been hospitalized since Wednesday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Henderson, who played the role of Carol Brady on “The Brady Bunch,” became a household name in 1970’s and most recently was seen in the audience with TV producer Norman Lear on this past Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” season finale. Maureen McCormick, who played the role of Marcia Brady, commented on Henderson’s passing in a twitter post.
