Donald Trump to supporters who are harassing minorities: ‘Stop it’


In his first televised sit-down interview since becoming President-elect, Trump sat down with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes. When asked about Latinos and Muslims who are facing harassment and his message to his supporters he said: “I am so saddened to hear that, and I say, ‘Stop it.’ If it — if it helps, I will say this, and I will say right to the cameras: ‘Stop it.'”

Sine his groundbreaking victory there have been hundreds of reports of racism to ethnic groups across the country. Many are sharing their stories using the hashtag #reporthate. Asked about the racist slurs and insults to the Muslim community Trump commented: “I would say don’t do it, that’s terrible because I’m going to bring this country together.”

He was also asked what he still plans on carrying out once he’s in the White House and was asked about his infamous wall and healthcare. Watch the highlights of his Presidential promises here:
