Alan Markovitz is a strip club owner and a “local legend” in the city of Detroit. He lives with his 17 year old daughter, Tiffany, from a previous relationship.
He is the proud owner of a $7,000 bronze statue in the shape of a middle finger which is 3.5 meters tall and just so happens to face the windows of his ex-wife and neighbor, Lea Tuohy’s, house.
Photos of the statue started circulating online when Mrs Tuohy’s daughter Lenka tweeted about it. “Alan and Tiffany are the best neighbors … but ew who does that lololol #psycho,” Ms Tuohy tweeted. “How psychotic do you have to be to buy the house directly next to your ex-wife and then put a statue up like that?!?! Real classy Alan.”
Mr Markovitz says a realtor showed him the house next door to Mrs Luohy’s by coincidence. After that, “karma” took over.
Mr Markovitz has a colorful reputation and has reportedly been shot twice and targeted by a murder contract, all while buying and selling local topless clubs. His life has been turned into a autobiography modestly entitled “Topless Prophet: The True Story of America’s Most Successful Gentleman’s Club Entrepreneur”. We hear the book is even being turned into a TV series.
Mr Markovitz claims the statue is specifically aimed at Mrs Tuohy’s housemate, with whom she had an affair while they were married.
It’s even spot-lit to ensure the neighbors can see it at night.
