Cardi B Announces She Is Pregnant with Fourth Child

Rapper Cardi B announced that she is pregnant with her fourth child during an interview on ‘CBS Mornings’. This will be her first child with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots. The news comes after a period of public speculation about the rapper’s pregnancy.

In the pre-taped interview with Gayle King, which aired on Wednesday, September 17, Cardi B confirmed the news and shared her thoughts on becoming a mother for the fourth time. “I’m excited,” she said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Cardi B also addressed the public speculation about her pregnancy, explaining that she wanted to announce the news on her own terms. “On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? Let me close some deals first,” she said. She also mentioned waiting for doctors to confirm the baby was healthy before making the announcement. She revealed that she was “very scared” to tell her parents but planned to do so before the interview aired.

The rapper, who has three children with her estranged husband, Offset, spoke about her new relationship with Stefon Diggs. She explained that their careers are in a similar space. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. Me and him, we think the same way,” she said. She also noted that Diggs’ support makes her feel “very safe.” “He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she said.

The pregnancy announcement coincides with the release of her new album, Am I The Drama?, which is scheduled to drop on September 19, 2025. Cardi B jokingly told the audience to “buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff.” She also confirmed that the baby is due before her ‘Little Miss Drama Tour’ starts in February 2026. She stated that she is “very ready” to tour and will begin rehearsals shortly after giving birth.

Cardi B’s three children with Offset are Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, who was born in September 2024. Diggs also has a daughter, Nova, from a previous relationship. The rapper filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024. Offset has not publicly commented on the pregnancy news, but he recently told TMZ Hip Hop that he is rooting for Cardi’s album to be a success.
